How to Replace Maxima Sway Bushing

    • 1). Jack the Nissan Maxima and place on jack stands.

    • 2). Remove the sway bar bushing bracket with a ratchet. There are two bushings and each is held on by two bolts.

    • 3). Remove the bushing from the bracket and place the new one in its place.

    • 4). Tighten the bracket onto the subframe with a ratchet.

    • 5). Repeat for the other bushing.

    • 6). Jack up the Maxima and remove the jack stands. Lower the car.
