Why Niche Marketing? Niche marketing is a focused marketing approach that laser-targets your visitors to your chosen niche.
This approach is a key ingredient to having a successful marketing strategy or business plan.
Stop spending money on useless advertising and expensive programs, at least when getting started.
The how to marketing strategy you should consider...
Getting started and making money online doesn't mean you need to spend money.
In fact, you should avoid spending money at least in the beginning of any new niche you plan to market in.
This is important so you don't go broke testing paid advertising and so on.
You don't need to spend money on get-rich-quick scams, either.
There are some good tools to automate your efforts as you go but remember to check reviews and use due diligence when investing into a program on how to make money, whether it be for an online opportunity or something else like vending.
In order to pick a niche, use Google Trends, eBay and YouTube to search for niche markets by finding out what people are searching for, what people are buying and what videos people are interested in.
A quick note:those of you just getting started, the niche "internet marketing" is very saturated and I don't advise anybody getting into it.
I'm not saying this to lower the competition, either, by the way.
This is simply a fact.
So don't waste your time with it.
Once you have found your niche, use a key word tool and pick low-competition but high-search volume, long-tail key words for your niche.
Google Ad Words is one tool for this and it is free to use.
Copy the key words into what is known as a swipe file.
The best swipe file is a notepad text file to keep out any formatting so when you copy and paste from one thing to another you shouldn't have any formatting issues.
Get high-quality affiliate offers for the niche through affiliate networks.
Most are free to sign up with so no money spent thus far.
Copy the affiliate links to the swipe file and be sure to save it.
Make a short version of the links with a link short service like Tiny URL.
Write about 2 to 5 articles about the niche, with each article between 200 to 300 words long.
Windows comes with video software and so do others so this next step should be no cost to you as well.
Make a video/slide show of the articles about 1 to 3 minutes long.
Add images to it and things like that to make it lively and interesting to watch.
Add your voice to it and read the article.
Add royalty-free background music to it.
I like to use instrumentals only so it will not be competing for the viewer's attention when watching the video.
Be sure to add the Tiny URL to the movie in a few places as it plays and for 15 to 30 seconds at the end.
Submit the video to all of the video sites.
Once you have each one submitted, start getting traffic by sharing the video with friends and family via e-mail and ask them to forward it and share it with their friends and family and to keep it going.
Use information in this article series like it's a free money making guide.
